Luxury Single Bow Case for either French or German Bow
I am a French bow player / I am a German bow player. Well that's OK because this superb bow case has been cleverly designed so as to carry either a French model bow or a German pattern bow in the same case. Its very simple to use as well - for inside the case - on the right hand side - are two slots for the handle end of your bow. A French bow player can use either slot while the longer upper slot will easily take the extended button of the German pattern bow. What about protection for my bow? With a shell made from 9mm ply and a padded outside nylon cover that has been attached to the shell by stylish chrome screws, whichever pattern bow you use - you will be happy in the knowledge that this case has been made to totally protect your favourite bow. All this protection comes with superb style too for the case itself is opened and closed by two heavy duty two-way zips that make just-the-right sort of sound (you know what I mean - a deep throated z.z.z..zip.…) when you do them up. What else does the case offer? Well - there are two rugged carry handles on the sides and an adjustable shoulder strap that attaches onto two chrome rings on the underside of the case. On the top of the case is a 22cm pocket - once again opened by two-way zips - which will accommodate your resin, pencils, rubbers etc. with ease. What about the inside? Ah yes, the inside. I thought that you'd never ask - for the padded velvet - in a wonderful shade of deep burgundy - really is total luxury for your bow. I use a very long bow. Will it fit in? Yes it should. These cases have been designed to accommodate bows with a maximum length of 73.5cm (from tip to button end). The occasional H.R. Pfretchner bow is of this length (and believe me that is long) so it is extremely unlikely that you will have one of a greater length. Please - by all means - if in doubt - do measure the length of your bow first. Overall. These cases look really good and they are extremely well made. Luxury Double Bow Case for either two French or two German Bows
But I want to take a spare bow with me Well - with this double bow case you most certainly will be able to take a spare bow along to the rehearsal, concert or gig. Made exactly to the same high standard as the single bow case but with the added benefit of being able to accommodate either two French bows, two German bows or - should you be extremely versatile in your bowing skills - one of each. Inside the case a velvet-covered panel neatly keeps your bows separate. Is the double case much bigger and heavier than the single? Surprisingly the stats are pretty similar. Of course there is a slight (1.5cm) increase in the depth of the case and a slight (19.0gms) increase in the overall weight of the case - but who will want to worry about such minutiae when you will be able carry two bows about with you in complete safety instead of only one.
