LOB: The length of back measurement is taken from the base of the back button to the lowest extremity (mid-point of the bottom edge) of the back.

St. Length: The St. Length measurement is taken from the lower-edge (facing the fingerboard) of the top nut to the top-edge (facing the fingerboard) of the bridge. This is the vibrating length of the string.
